LiteWire Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Update March 23, 2020

Due to the ongoing situation we are implementing the following additional steps to protect our employees and our customers:
1) Service calls will limit customer interaction. All work that can be done outside will be done in a contactless manner. We will no longer wait at the door after ringing the doorbell or knocking on your front door. We will immediately complete our work and leave as quickly as possible. Our service techs will only be driving our vehicles with the company logo.

2) For the foreseeable future, all new installs will also be contactless. In order to accomplish this we will be providing a portion of your wiring as a temporary wire that will need to be strung through a window or other opening after our installer has left. Once the current situation has passed, we will return to complete the internal portion of your install in a normal permanent fashion. In this way we will be able to provide much needed service to as many people as possible in the safest conditions available. If you prefer to not have a temporary wire installed please let us know and we can place your install on hold for now.

3) Due to the above restrictions, our onsite techs will not be able to take payment directly. Instead, you will need to contact our office where you can make a payment via credit card to activate your service.

Dear LiteWire customer,

There is nothing more important to LiteWire, than the health and well-being of you and our employees. In light of the continued spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to assure you that LiteWire is prepared to take any necessary measures to ensure the safety of all who work and conduct their business with us.

At present, we are encouraging employees who feel sick to stay home until such time that they are healthy enough to be in our offices, and we are moving swiftly to provide telecommuting capabilities to those staff members whose roles permit them to work remotely. In addition, we have closed our lobby for direct interaction. You are still welcome to stop in to make a payment in our box. A receipt will be provided via email as soon as your payment is posted.

For you, our customer, we want to assure you that we will continue to support our network and service calls will continue as necessary. Keeping you connected is always, but especially in this time of need, our top priority. We will continue to closely monitor developments and follow protocols set forth by local and national agencies/authorities, and will communicate to you any changes from our normal course of business.
